New Scenery

fitfoolMichael and I visited a friend who was just out of the hospital and recovering. Afterwards, because Michael's the best boyfriend in the world, he dropped me off at Jamaica Pond to let me run while he grabbed something to eat. He came back while I was finishing 3rd lap and waited while I ran 2 more. Total of 1 hr 19 minutes. Splits: 15:42, 16:27, 16:25, 15:43, 14:48. To cap things off, there were fireworks when we got home. The news that the war for independence had ended took 2 weeks to reach us so our town celebrates the 4th of July with a festival 2 weeks later. Nice bonus fireworks display.
