Rail Trail

Out of town visiting my sister. She was kind enough to take me out to a nearby rail trail this morning. First we walked the length of it and then jogged the 1 mile back nice and slow just to show her she could indeed jog a whole mile. Had to keep tugging her dog back on his leash while we tried to jog slowly. Then I ran a bit on my own. Pretty trail. Paved and surrounded on both sides by trees with a cornfield near the end of it. Empties out into a cluster of homes so I ran along those streets for a bit and then returned on the rail trail. Nice to run in a new place even if it was a short run. Felt a little greedy taking time to myself to run when I see my sisters so rarely.
